This
part of the website is about our vision as a church and how we can help
you develop a more intimate relationship with Jesus. Then you can
click on the links to the left.
If you are not a Christian or unsure
of your salvation we recommend you
first to read the Good News underneath. It tells you everything Jesus is able to
do in your life! We wish you a warm welcome to the family of God!
This
is the Good News!
Jesus Christ is both willing and able to
heal you; forgive you; deliver you; set you free; restore you; help you;
strengthen you and perform the miracle in your life which you require.
There is no catch. Jesus has no hidden agenda or small print. He loves
you, and just as you would want the very best for your children,
likewise He desires the best possible life for you. 'Taste and see that
the Lord is good the Bible urges us.
At some time or other in their lives, most thinking people ask
themselves the questions, 'Why am I here?', 'What is the purpose of
life?' and 'Is there life after death?'
The answer to these questions and all of the relevant questions to life,
death and the after-life can be found in the world's best selling
book-the Bible.
In the Bible we read that we were created by a loving heavenly Father to
live with Him, enjoy Him and to spend eternity with Him in the Paradise
and bliss of Heaven. God has graciously given us a free will whereby we
are not compelled to love Him and He has also given us the choice as to
whether we wish to live according to His morals and commands as laid out
in His Word.
Every human being is separated from God because of our sinfulness and
for that reason we all need a Saviour who can act as a 'bridge' for that
gap of separation between us and our Creator. That Saviour needs to be
someone who can touch both sides of the 'bridge' as it were, and
therefore He must be without sin (fully God) and yet fully human too in
order to reach mankind. Jesus Christ is that One. 2000 years ago He came
to earth and offered His life as a sacrifice on a cross and paid the
penalty for our sinfulness. That's why the Bible tells us that, 'no
greater love has a person than that he lays down his life for his
friend!'
Why did Jesus do this?
Simply because as your Creator He loves you deeply and intensely and you
are very special and unique to Him. Had He not offered His life in
sacrifice we would have remained separated from God for ever with no
hope of reconciliation. Those who tragically refuse the offer of
reconciliation and forgiveness remain in the condition of separation-a
separation which lasts for all of eternity-and that means hell. Some
refuse out of disbelief; others due to stubbornness or others because
they just enjoy sinful activities.
Nevertheless, one thing is common to all people who do not know Jesus as
their Saviour-their lives are empty however much they may try to
disguise it. They continue to search for meaning to life, purpose and fulfillment-and
yet the missing piece to everyone's jigsaw is to have Jesus, our
Creator, in our empty hearts. There is, thank God, a solution to your
situation. Jesus Christ can save you, heal you, fulfill you and (though
you may never have been aware of it) is the very 'something' you have
been searching for all of your life.
If you call out to Him now-even in the privacy of your own home-He will
respond to your cry.
Alternatively
feel free to write to us. We are normal people from normal backgrounds
who have discovered the claims of Jesus Christ in the Bible to be true.
We will gladly pray for you and your life will be changed by the love
and power of Jesus Christ.
Jesus wants to do a miracle in your situation. God bless you.
So
what do I do now?
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life".
Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ the
only begotten Son of God has died on the cross for your sins and that
after 3 days He rose from death. That He has paid the price for your sins and that He has made it
possible for you to be reconciled with your heavenly Father.
Ask Jesus today to forgive you of your sins and as Jesus says in
Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man
hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with Me."
Jesus said in Matthew 10:38-39, "And he that taketh not his cross, and
followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me. He that findeth his life shall
lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it". Repent
of your wrongdoings and make as inward decision to turn away from your
old life and surrender your life to Jesus.
A prayer that you could pray is: Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You and I
ask You for forgiveness for my sins. I repent and decide to turn away
from my old life. I surrender my life to you and decide to follow You
from this day on. I believe you are the Son of God. I believe that You
died for my sins upon the cross and rose from the dead and that you
have forgiven me. Please come into my heart and life. Please fill me
with Your Holy Spirit.
1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
[our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
If you have decided to ask Jesus in your life, make it known, go to one
of your friends and tell him/her what you have decided, let us know as
well, we would love to hear from you and encourage you in the Lord.
The next thing is very important, seek for a Spirit filled, bible
believing church you can go to, so that you can grow in your new found
relationship with Jesus.
