I take this privilege to share with you the update from my mission trip to St. Melons (Cardiff, Wales). I took a team of 8 young people to this little town. The LORD had put a heavy burden to take a team, and it was confirmed when we got a contact from a Pastor who was organising a Tent Mission in this town. It was an answer to his prayer as he was praying for more workers. There we were just waiting to be used by the Lord. The Lord is a good organiser! First
we went to a place called Pontyclun and worked for 2 days with a local
church. We saw people getting touched by the gospel. We also went to an
old people's home and spent some time singing Easter songs and also praying
for the sick. We did
two evening meetings where we had a good response from the youth. The team
being from different nations was a highlight to the youth. I am from a
part of India called Goa, Linda
from Hungary, Betty from Poland, Sijbrigje from Dutch and
Caribbean background, Michael from the USA, Zaid from Ethiopia,
Mick from England and Silvie from the Czech Republic. All of them are
members of the Holy Nation Church. God is
bringing the nations to London so that we can go out from here to reach
the lost. In the
mornings we did other activities like door to door evangelism, kids
ministry, football evangelism (it was good to play football with the
kids where I could show my footballing skills!). In fact the highlight
for me was that I prayed for a 9 year old boy on the ground for his
hand and he felt the HEALING TOUCH OF GOD. He was healed! The
Lord used the team in a powerful way. I was the guest speaker on the
Good Friday. I preached on the Cross, and the Lord helped me to deliver
the message. We came
back to London with testimonies of healings, salvation, deliverance etc.
THE LORD IS GOOD AND FAITHFUL IN ALL HIS WAYS. The
last thing that happened was that when I had planned to go to Wales I
did not have the money to buy the ticket. I bought the ticket with my
credit card. God did a miracle! That was through the pastor whom we had
worked with. He sent the team money to cover our travelling expenses.
God provided financially. I am learning to trust him in all my dealings. It was
also a good experience to lead a team. It is a challenge but the Lord
helps his leaders. I can see myself leading more and more teams in the
future. Be
blessed and highly favoured. Johny |

MISSION
TO POLAND I am privileged to be writing this short report on
our recent mission. We are just back from our mission to Poland and it
was so tremendous to see the Lord doing miracles even before we had
flown. It started with my brother and I getting a breakthrough with our
Polish visas. The Lord had clearly said to us as a team before we went
that, “Those who know their God shall do great exploits.” We landed in Warsaw on the 26th October
with myself, Terry, Dunstan, Jeffrey and Betty making up the Team. It
was great to meet Pastor Andre from the Praga Christ Church, in Warsaw,
a very humble and caring shepherd. That Tuesday meeting started with repentance on
behalf of the Polish nation for the things that had been done to the
Jewish people. As a team we felt that it was very necessary for us to
bless and pray for Israel. The highlight of the Friday meeting was that
during the bread distribution ministry where 125 poor people were given
lots of free bread, Dunstan shared his testimony in a powerful way that
touched the people. I had an opportunity to share an evangelistic
message and saw 25 people making a decision to repent and receive Jesus
as their Lord and Saviour. We prayed for 8 people for healing and saw
the Holy Spirit touching people through us. Terry and Dunstan prayed for
a deaf person who received his hearing back – Praise the Lord! The Lord opened a door for us to go to a very
remote and poor village called Sochachev. We worked the whole afternoon
with Pastor Slavek who is standing alone with his small church in a
place where there are strong Catholic strongholds and seeing the
salvation message of our Lord spread forth. We all had an opportunity to
share our testimonies. Betty did a wonderful job by translating in
Polish with passion and fire. During the prayer ministry 2 people got
filled with the Holy Spirit and a few others were prayed for physical
healing which we do not know how the Lord touched as we came back soon
to our base in Warsaw. We saw the Lord move in the Sunday service in a
very powerful way. I preached on being obedient to the word of God.
After the preaching, many people responded for prayer. One family
including mother and 2 daughters gave their lives to the Lord. We prayed
for the mother who was told by the doctors that she had to amputate her
left leg. She saw the power of God touching her left leg and we believe
that she will not have to amputate her leg. Sunday was a good time to
meet all the church members and have a light meal with them over the
Agape ministry which is basically a ministry where people eat, chat and
get to know each other. One of the things that blew our mind was that
wherever we went on the buses, trams and on to the streets we saw people
making a commitment to follow that Lord. Five people got saved through
our street/travelling ministry. Of note was to see an Indian student and
a Kenyan giving their lives to the Lord in Poland. We were full of
passion to tell people that Jesus is the THE ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH AND
LIFE. It was very sad to see on the 1st
November that the whole nation of Poland comes to the graves to pray for
the dead. That activity really made us cry more for the Poland as we
know that the bible teaches us that the once we die, our eternal destiny
has been decided and no prayers can change anything. We were put up in a place called ARKA, where an
evangelical church runs ministry for the local kids. The kids are coming
from very poor and broken families. We had an opportunity to work with
them for two afternoons. We shared the love of God to them and also
shared the gospel message with them. Twenty-five children made a
commitment to follow Jesus. Though a few of the kids were 8 or 9 years
old I believe that they will always remember the day they asked Jesus to
come into their lives to be their Lord and Saviour. The Praga church was greatly encouraged by our
ministry. I believe that they grew in faith even though we were there to
minister for just a short time. The people were very friendly and
hospitable. We have been invited again by all the people we
worked with. Also a door has been opened for us to go to the Prisons
with the Gospel in Poland if we go again.
The country is beautiful. We all enjoyed the food.
Thursday was the day when we went out as a team for sight-seeing.
We went to the tallest building called the Cultural Palace and as we
were up there on the 30th floor we felt that the Lord wanted
us to pray a blessing upon the country and establish something in the
spiritual realm. I believe that through this trip the Lord has put
a special love in us to pray for Poland as I mentioned that the country
is spiritually dead because the people are brain washed by the Catholic
church with its false teachings. It is time we rise up and see the
salvation of the Living God visit people throughout the nations of the
world. To finish, the Lord kept His Promise and we did
see ourselves doing great exploits for HIS KINGDOM by plundering hell
and populating heaven. The team was great and worked in absolute unity
and that is of course what we need for the anointing to flow in our
lives. God bless you all. Johny Fernandes |
