We hold various activities for the young people at Holy Nation! All our activities are age-based and we follow the academic calendar, so children are placed in groups with those who would also be in their class at school.
During the Sunday Celebration Services, we hold the following groups:
Creche for the 1-3s: Our Creche is for the smallest members of our congregation! During the preaching time, the little ones come together for a small lesson about God. They have fun playing together and getting to know each other!
Sunday School for the 3-7s: Children come together to learn about a Bible story or message, engage in fun crafts and enjoy lots of games! They also enjoy special themed-days and trips, where we particularly discuss our theme for the year.
Children's Church for the 7-11s: This group involves a teaching with more depth than that received in the Sunday School. The group also includes crafts, games and competitions, and some free time for the children to build friendships with one another, as well as some trips and outings.
Youth Church for the 11-16s: The Youth Church has a teaching each week, based on a particular given Bible verse or short passage. The youth are encouraged to discuss what the passage means to them, and also take part in games and illustrations to help aid understanding. The youth also have some trips and events for them to take part in every year.
We also have a Youth Group, which meets during the week:
Ethnos Youth: Once a young person leaves school at the age of 16, they are invited to join our Ethnos Youth Group. This group meets at various times, and hosts a variety of activities including:
